I have fond memories of Mont Saint Michel. Having gone there as a young child my father captured some lovely photos of it. One of them was very similar to this, but in black and white. The colour version I have to say, judging by this, would have been a whole lot better. The sky is beautiful, and contrasted with the colour of the walls - well, it's just beautiful

as always your colors are rich and real, yet unreal and believable at the same time allows a sense of dreamlike beauty. befitting a sort of...yearning, I think.
(i probably make no sense whatsoever. in short, it's beautiful.)

Michel, cette photo est vraiment magnifique. Les deux petits traits bleus dans le ciel qui sont très lumineux appportent une magie certaine à ta capture. Le ciel est superbe par endroite éclairé, parfois à l'ombre ( en observant les nuages). Les contrastes vont bien resortir les batiments. Et pour ceux qui y pretent attention l'oiseau qui survole les lieux apporte une touche de liberté.
Je regrette cependant que tu es coupé le mont, il aurait peut-être était plus judicieux d'en monter une plus grande partie, j'entend par là de changer la composition de la photo. sans doute que tu as fait ce choix car d'autres élèments aller entrer en jeu dans la photo si tu avais choisi un champs de vision plus large.
J'aime beaucoup, magie et liberté reste les mots qui me viennet à chaque fois que je jette un oeil à tes photos.

Merci mon ami... C'est vrai concernant le cadrage du bas du Mont mais j'ai vraiment du mal avec les parkings et les voitures au pied d'une telle merveille...
