Artist's Comments

Wherever we go,
Whatever we are doing,
Our works are like our memories:
Just tiny winks referring to the whole big thing...

.°.

Yes, all the hundred tiny dark marks that you can see on the sand are human footprints... You can see the group of walkers on the left... Big rain is coming...
Enjoy in full view to be able to follow the prints and find your way...
Shot from the ramparts of the Citadel at Le Mont St Michel, France...

Canon EOS 300D + 28-55 mm.
Edition: contrast, clarity, noise reduction and frame with Paint Shop Pro9...

This picture is dedicated to my young friend Lasse, from Norway

Thank you Lasse, thank you so much my dear friend, for your constant support and appreciation of my works, but thank you deeply and more especially for the wonderful words you’ve written on one of my recent picture: [link] ...
These words can fit also with this one, Lasse, and with many others in my gallery, all the ones with open skies and open spaces, because the world is surely made of open doors for the ones who have the good keys...

Here is Lasse’s poem:

“For so long, I've been in chains.
For so long I've lived these pains.

But now.. I close my eyes, put my hand in yours.
I seek the dark, find the open doors.

With you by my side, my dreams will come true.
We'll fly away, in the sky so blue.

What we will find? I can't tell.
But I'm flying up to heaven, away from this hell.

I take the chance, that's what I need to do.
I fly away, away with you...”

Mathematics, rightly viewed, possesses not only truth, but supreme beauty – a beauty cold and austere, without appeal to any part of our weaker nature...sublimely pure, and capable of a stern perfection. B. Russell

I like how you filled the frame and how the sky is filled with activity. I'm not sure if I like the aura-ness around the bushes. Don't know whether it's intentional or not... fantastic work, though! Très bien!
:iconmichelch:
It's not any aura, it's just a natural reflection of light on the salty sand on the right behind the bushes and same on the left from the high-lighted piece of sky... Thank you for your nice comment...
