Artist's Comments

Trees dream in winter, with their broken lines, their bare branches and skeletons figures, they are throwing their despaired shadows everywhere in the air to catch a tiny breeze of spring passing by and then their secret renaissance wishes will come true…

The Light and the Wind are their only witnesses, the Water just keep silent…

Wonderful work!

A wonderfull ballance of light between the sky and the water, combined with a really beautiful motive and composition. Somehow the square format underlined the hybernating of the trees, their immobility in their suspension until a breeze of warm air re-animates them in all their color and might.
The transformation: Strangely enough it is the dry winter air that contributes to the crystalline color contrasts.
Then, in spring, it is exactly the trees that take part in soaking up the water from the foreground of this image, in lifting it up into their branches and leaves, to evaporate it into the sky, where it takes part in the transformation of the sky into more hazy and dusty colors.

I love the image, I love the chosen title, and I love the words you chose to accompagny it.
Brilliant work. ART

The heightened vertical aspect in this... as in, in fact, an overload of vertical... definitely plays a huge part in accentuating a sense of being "spread too thin", at least for me... It's cold, desolate... and ultimately dissipating.
